We hope you are all enjoying your summer vacation! With the new school year approaching, I pose this question to our parents, students, and staff:
What makes the ULTIMATE teacher? Describe the teacher you would want to have or would want your child to have.
You will see where to post your reply when you click on the title of this blog entry.

The ultimate teacher would be a teacher who really understands kids. Especily the ages and stages. Someone who knows when to declipline and to reward. Someone who can understand your personality and what you’re going through. They should help people who have a slower pace then others and to make sure the faster paced are occupied. I think evrybody would be happy if they were put in a class with a teacher like that.
I think they would give us an hour to play when we went outside.
To take on the job of teaching already sets you above the rest. When a teacher is there, not only in spirit but mind and body you are the ultimate.
I think for me, with three children in elementary school, the ideal teacher would be one that really cares about each student and understands their individual needs. I think the ultimate teacher should play music in class that the children and the teacher enjoy. I would love for a teacher to every once in a while declare a “no homework night.”
The ultimate teacher is someone who is patient, listens and can be fair.
The ultimate teacher loves children and has the following qualities…
Loving
Patient
Understanding
Creative
Thought provoking
Innovative
Has good communication with parents and children
Can push a children to their potential and realizes when they have pushed too far
We all know that this is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs. Let’s give our teachers a raise!
The ultimate teacher is one who has a clear understanding of what I need to learn, and can find engaging and meaningful ways for me to learn and apply those skills and concepts. He/she is able to determine my personal strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles and plan my learning with them in mind. My ultimate teacher is a facilitator, not a traditional lecture-style teacher. I do better when I can learn by doing.
My idea of the ultimate teacher is someone who would play music. Here are the choices of music that I might like: Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, and Shrek. The ultimate teacher would not be too strict. I think they should also be fun by having prizes for being good at answering questions or if you just help out and behave.
The ultimate teacher would be a teacher who knows how to keep track of children. He or she would put on music for the class the music may help you concentrate. The teacher would be a little strict so when the teacher yells it’ll wake up the class. The teacher would have rewards for the children who behave. She would have treats for the kids who answer questions right. She would be nice to the children. she would give no homework on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The ultimate teacher would be someone who can understand problems like a counselor. Sometimes she will give no homework or a pass. She would maybe let you have extra recess.
I think the ultimate teacher:
Is the one that hears what the student is not saying, and can read between the lines.
Is the one that see the potential in each kid.
Is the one that makes learning fun, a game that kids would want to play.
Last but not least (for the list can go on!!):
the ultimate teacher is the one that wakes up the spark in each and every student, for they each have one and to know what it is and how to turn it on - is the truly ultimate teacher!
The ultimate teacher is someone who loves their job and loves children. An ultimate teacher constently updates their skills and is up to date on all the latest and greatest innovations in technology and teaching methods and incorporates them into their classroom.
The best teacher would be someone like our teachers and computer teacher!:)
Our teachers rock! They are the beeeeeeeest teachers ever!!!!!
Our teacher is the ultimate teacher. She is smart and nice and funny.
We have the best pricipal and vice principal in the world. They are nice and always have a smile on their faces. They are nice, funny and thoughtful.
Our principle and assistant principal rock!!!
The ulimate teacher would be one that would go over something again and again until ever kid gets it. Also one that would be nice and want to teach the kids something and let the kids teach her/him.
The best teachers ever are my teachers this year and our computer teacher! They rock!!!!!!
They make school so much easier by slowing down so that way we can learn easier. You three are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ulimate teacher would be a teacher that makes learning fun. Like my two teachers this year and my computer teacher. They take time for to learn it. They dont make you learn it in one day. Also they would let them show how they got the anwser.
What makes an ultimate teacher? I believe that ultimate teachers are superstars. They are dedicated individuals who truly care about a childs education. They make learning fun and find creative ways to instill knowledge into their student’s minds. ULTIMATE teachers go that extra mile to ensure a quality education to the scholars entrusted in their care. My son’s teacherthis year is an example. I am very impressed with her dedication to my son’s education and well- being. In fact, I am very impressed with the whole school in their proactive and joint effort to ensure a positive academic experience for my son.
