Great job kids!!! I read all your new blog posts to keep up with what’s new at Trantwood. It’s great the way you all are using technology in the classroom. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for doing the blog on the earth, sun and moon. We learned a lot from your presentation. The information about the astronomers was very accurate, and we appreciated your enthusiasm. Maybe you’ll hear from us soon.

When I visited your class and read your rough drafts on this assignment, I was anxious to read the final copies. What a creative idea to have the earth and sun converse! Your teachers put a lot of thought and planning into such an interesting assignment. Now when you gaze into the sky, you can imagine the energy these two forces have with one another and how it effects you.

Students, how proud I was of all of you who participated in the pod cast informing us about the solar system. I learned a lot of facts and hopefully you did as well. This was a terrific project and we are so proud of you, especially as you were featured to other schools. Thanks for the work of your teachers and of each of you. Happy New Year! Dr. Slaughter

What a great job! I’ve been interested in doing something with podcasting for some time now. A few years ago, my assistant and I tried our hand at creating a blog as part of our AR program so that students could leave comments about their imaginary trips in outer space. They could even comment from home. We were quite successful! I’m definitely going to give podcasting a try very soon!
